In this country youth is often squandered, as children and teenagers spend their time making memories and forging connections instead of building credit. This is now a problem of the past, thanks to a new partnership between Macklemore and VEVO. With a minimum sign on age of 12, (8 for borrowers with a cosigner) the youth of America can finally start building credit, with minimal interest cards approved for purchase at certain locations only. The VEVO credit card will automatically decline if used outside of the Fortnite item store, McDonald’s, DraftKings, Home Depot, stake.com Target, and any retailer that sells PRIME energy drink. Cardholders can also gain cashback rewards in the form of Fortnite Vbucks, by simply watching music videos on the VEVO music channel. An official from VEVO had this to say;
“we’re all honestly just so glad that kids can finally monetize their time and start borrowing and building credit sooner! Our music video cashback program is revolutionary, and will hopefully nurture a relationship between lenders and a newer, younger generation of borrowers
Spearheading the new VEVO credit card is Thrift shop star Macklemore! Legal name Benjamin Haggerty, had this to say about the VEVO credit card.
“Basically they just approached me one day and were like yo we can make some money together, we can help the kids make some money together, and I was all like “yeah tight” because I’m really all about the community, and the future generations.
Haggerty continues
“All you have to do is link your Epic Games Fortnite account with your VEVO account, enter your social security number, and watch my music videos to earn cashback credit in the form of Fortnite Vbucks. It only works if you watch my videos though ahahha nah im JP.”
Haggerty’s handlers informed us “JP” is a shorthand acronym for “just playin’” a catch phrase often used by the recording artist.
Starting 1/1/25, VEVO credit cards will be available through all major lenders, make sure to check in on us here at News Now News for more updates.
